| Extract Data from Datatel then create an ASCII file call c.patron or v.patron in user directory. After ASCII file created user must load this file into library database. |

| 1. Run Unibasic program call S02-PATRON 2. Telnet lib login: mtran pass: 3. Select A>Addictional system functions 4. Select M>Read/Write MARC records password required for the use of this program please key your initials : mmm please key your pass : --- (same as initials) 5. Select P>Load MARC PATRON records tape or IFTS 6.Select G>GET a file using IFTS a) enter name of file: c.patron b) Select sb2 c) username: mtran d) password e) Choose One (1-16,F,J,Q,C,T,M,P,L,A,S,+) 7.Select T>PREPROCESS TEXT image patron data loaded from IFTS a)Enter file number (1-2) Note: Select file w/extention *.PAT 8.Select C>CONVERT A MARC file a)Enter file number (1-2) Note: Select file w/ext like *.PAT 9. Select L> Load records |
