Datatel Data Entry Screens: NSMA Reports: XPOS XPOS: Print Positive Attendance report that lists the courses that will soon end, and courses that have ended, but no Positive Attendance hours have yet been posted. The Positive Attendance Roster sheets for these course are printed then distributed. The date range of the report being requested depends on how far back and how far forward the user wants to extract. Depending on the incumbent`s manual tracking method will dictate how far back to request the report. The same methodology is used for deciding how far into the future to request for courses that will soon end. Positive Attendance hours are posted to the system as the roster sheets are submitted. NSMA (Non-Scheduled Meeting Attendance): When NSMA is called up the system will prompt you to lookup a course section. Enter the course name or synonym as indicated on the Positive Attendance Roster sheet. Choose the appropriate course from the resolution screen. Post the appropriate hours as indicate on the roster sheets. If on the roster the column `Check Her If never Missed` is checked off for any student, post the hours that is indicated on the top of the roster under Pos. If the there is a code in the Drop Code column and/or the column `Check Here If Never Attended` is checked off, zero is posted in the sytem. Students who have dropped/withdrawn are listed on the lower portion of the screen. If there are hours posted on the roster for dropped/withdrawn students, these must be posted as well. |
Related Documents to Process (e.g. Datatel documentation, Government code books, etc.) |
Notes (Cautions, suggestions for improvement, etc.) |
On occasion if the Positive hours indicated on the roster sheet and on the NSMA screen are different, print the Positive Attendance report to verify the hours. This problem has since been corrected, but If the hours are different, notify Computing Services. |
