Faculty Hourly and Overload Contracts (XFCT)
Source documents or communication with information needed for this process:
Current list of the Pay Months Table. This can be run from the S02 menu.
1. Login to FrontView Terminal and the "live" account.

2. At the colon (:) enter S02

3. Select "Faculty Information"

4. Select "Pay Month Table Report", enter a Datatel printer name and LPTR
What is the end-result of this process, or the hand-off
This table is used by the Faculty Contract program (XFCT) to determine how many payments there will be. It is based on the begin and end dates of a section. After this table has been updated send a copy to the Payroll Dept. (Colleen Gamboa) to be proofed and approved before Faculty Contrats are run using this table.
What steps must be taken independent of the computer system (Manual Process)
After the table has been updated, send a copy to Colleen Gamboa in the District Payroll Dept. to proof the "HRLY PMTS" and "CNTR PMTS" columns.
Which steps must be taken on a computer (Electronic Process):
1. Login to FrontView Terminal and the "live" account.

2. At the colon (:) enter S02

3. Select "Faculty Information"

4. Select "Inst Agree Table Entry"

5. Use the current Pay Months Table report to determine the next "Enter code"

6. Using the current Pay Months Table report, enter the Enter Code, Sort Order, Begin Range First Date, Begin range Last Date, End Range First Date, End Range Last Date, Hrly Pmts, and Cntr Pmts.
Related Documents to Process (e.g. Datatel documentation, Government code books, etc.)
Notes (Cautions, suggestions for improvement, etc.)
If the screens were a little more user friendly, maybe this is something the Payroll department could do. It also seems like the table is repeating the same information except the year. Maybe the table could be eliminated.
