Train users to ensure status change codes are used only as intended. For example, using "I" to give no refund does not conflict with any other use of "withdraw" policy, since we don`t use "W" for some other purpose. |
Which steps must be taken on a computer (Electronic Process): |
To change the drop or withdraw policy for enrollment fees (e.g., VENR, CENR), on each TRTB (tuition rate tables) update policy (e.g., "GENERAL" or "NO-RFND). To change the drop or withdraw policy for other fees, update each Registration Rate Table (RTRT). To change the action taken with a status change code: On the VAL code table for STUDENT.ACAD.CRED.STATUSES: position cursor on the special process code for the status code to be changed. For example, for "I" (instructor drop), change special process from "3" to "4". Document date of change. |

Notes (Cautions, suggestions for improvement, etc.) |
To identify the billing tables used for a given student, use Registration Billing Summary (RGBS). Then lookup the code (like CA.NO…) on RGRT. On Registration Rate Tables (RGRT), field 4, two types of rates are shown: tuition rates and term rates. Last update date 4/22/02 |
