New Financial Aid Suite (FFSP) - creates file: TA.yyyy.

Identify new fall semester start date.

Which steps must be taken on a computer (Electronic Process):

First in test system, then in live: Step 1: For new financial aide year (yyyy), create new Virtual Fields: S02.BOGA.yyyy, S02.BOGBC.yyyy in STUDENTS file (copy fields for prior year and update definition). Step 2: Create RRBF for new year (e.g., RRBF.2002) Step 3: on RGRT lookup a table for currrent year (e.g., BOGA.01). Then, create table like it for new FA year (e.g., BOGA.02), Reg Rate Fields ID: RRBF.yyyy field names/values: substitute S02.BOGA.xxxx with S02.BOGA.yyyy and set effective date to start date of the new semester. Tuition/term rate tables: as on BOGA.01 Step 4: Repeat above for other tables (e.g., BOGBC, CA.NO.FA…) Step 5: Test: register students for new term, be sure students with a BOG award in new year (no BOG award in prior year) are charged BOG rates - be sure students with no BOG award in new year(with BOG award in prior year) are NOT charged BOG rates. (see RGBS.)
