Datatel Emergency Shutdown Notification

1. The Help Desk or any DCS staff member should send an e-mail to the "Datatel Users" e-mail group, marked "urgent", informing the users of the situation and giving the time of the upcoming Datatel shutdown and the estimated time of availability.

2. Each User Liaison should call the primary contact for the offices he/she is responsible for. If the primary contact is not available, the secondary contact should be called. See the "RelatedDocuments" section for the list of contacts. The list also shows any other systems or applications which will be affected because they interface real-time with Datatel. These should be specifically communicated because they may not be obvious to the users. For any user liaisons that are not available, the responsibilities for his/her phone calls should be distributed to other DCS staff members.
