1. Determine that a Datatel customization is crucial to the successful operation of a college or district office. 2. Obtain approval from the Director of Administrative Computing. 3. Obtain approval from the college or district manager responsible for the data or procedure in question. 3a. The responsible manager should identify the primary and backup users responsible for testing the customization. 3b. The customization should be tested each time patches are loaded into the test account, and again when they are loaded into the live account. 3c. The responsible office should notify DCS when a customization is no longer working and needs to be reinstated. 4. Create the customization and document the customization process in "\\sbccdnas\comp_center\Datatel\Datatel Customizations.doc". |
