Users informed when Datatel is not available for telephone registration.
What steps must be taken independent of the computer system (Manual Process)
TREG needs to be set to shut down at 7:30pm on Sundays and not restored until normal time Mondays. (The exta half hour will ensure that students will not be cut off in the middle of a session.)

Which steps must be taken on a computer (Electronic Process):
From ROAM Maintenance screen, select "Open DataBase Form" screen, "TimeLog.Dat"?
During times when the host is down, you will need to set the systimes database to not be available. This way the system will not try to login and will still accept calls. The phrase that currently gets spoken is phrase 4.
Related Documents to Process (e.g. Datatel documentation, Government code books, etc.)
Datatel users (registration clerks) informed by email from HelpDesk and phone calls by ULs (Datatel Contact List). WebReg users informed by messages on ccentral.

(Link to visio overview document could go here.)
Notes (Cautions, suggestions for improvement, etc.)
The phrase that currently gets spoken when the host is not available is phrase 4.
Phrase 4 says: "I`m sorry. The system is unable to accept registration at this time. Please try calling again later." To give more detail, record a new message (see Process #25) and make appropriate script changes (see Process #20).
