What must be done before this process is started:
Department identifies need for WebTrak services. For example: positive attendance classes, student services. Student Services provided by appointment should still use SARS Grid, WebTrak is only intended for tracking walkin use.

WebTrak profile ready for WebTrak installation on client`s PC.
What steps must be taken independent of the computer system (Manual Process)
Discuss requirements with users. Describe configuration options available:
Profile name: Identify site where profile is to be used (e.g. STAR, EOPS, LRC900) -
This name will appear on the student checkin webpage.
Base Section: If student should be enrolled in a specific section to use this profile,
section name (e.g. LRC-900X4-01). NONE if section checks not applicable.
Possible registration checks (LOC, SEC, STU):
LOC checks student is currently enrolled in some class at the college (autoreg to Base Section, e.g., LRC900, is possible)
SEC confirms student is currently enrolled in a specific section at the college.
STU only requires a student id exists for whoever tries to use WebTrak.

Reason Types/Reason Codes -
Identify services provided at the site being defined. For example:
If Reason Type "TUTOR", Reason codes could be subjects (ENGLISH, MATH) or tutor name.
If Reason Code contains a wild card (e.g. ENGL*), section names in which student is actively enrolled will be displayed. For example, ENGL-101-02, ENGL-120-04.

Default time if user forgets to checkout (NONE, if checkout doesn`t apply.)
Which steps must be taken on a computer (Electronic Process):
Create a profile in the test system, for initial evaluation by user.
Create a new entry in S02.PA.PROFILE.

Copy profile to live system, ready to install WebTrak on target PC.

Notes (Cautions, suggestions for improvement, etc.)
If SSN entered, show student id.

Allow reason type/code display on one or more screens, depending on number of codes needed. Track tutor name as well as subject.
