Setting Up Datatel Accounts

Permissions setup done by UL`s.

When completed with my portion it`s handed off to a UL.
What steps must be taken independent of the computer system (Manual Process)
Form filled out and signed and turned in to DCS.
Which steps must be taken on a computer (Electronic Process):
Setting up a User in Unix

1) Login
2) Now login as Root
3) sam
4) Hit enter again
5) And again
6) Accounts for users and groups
7) Choose users
8) Tab to Actions
9) User Templates
10) Select
11) ok
12) Tab to Actions
13) Add
14) Enter user information
15) Ok
16) Ok to verify
17) Arrow down to the new user
18) Space bar to select(highlight user)
19) Tab to Actions
20) Modify users password
21) Tab to OK
22) Retype users password and hit enter.
23) Select the users name again (spacebar)
24) Tab to Actions
25) Modify users group...
26) The user should have only these groups (clive, ctest, users)
27) Ok
28) Exit all the way out!!!

* When you see “Tab to Actions” you must hit enter, once Actions is highlighted to display drop down menu choices.
