Search an EPOS/TREG Log

What must be done before this process is started:
Request from Admissions/Registration user (usually via email). They MUST supply the student`s SSN and the date of the transaction.
Which processes are waiting for this process:
Admissions/Registration changes.
Source documents or communication with information needed for this process:
What is the end-result of this process, or the hand-off
A record of all telephone registration activity, for an individual student, which shows each step they completed during an individual transaction.
What steps must be taken independent of the computer system (Manual Process)
Receive EPOS/TREG Log search request.
Which steps must be taken on a computer (Electronic Process):
1. Open ETR Log Folder located on Labyrinth
2. Open folder for pertinent month.
3. Open file for pertinent day.
4. Search for SSN
- edit; find; enter SSN
5. If SSN is found, identify the line number associated with this SSN (i.e., Line 3 or Line 4, etc.).
5. Using the line number as an indicator, back-up until you locate the beginning of this call (line will read "call started"). Beginning here, highlight each line of text (even lines not associated) until you reach the end up the call (line will read "call ended" or "hung-up").
6. Now that the entire call us highlighted, copy and paste into a new word document (right click to copy, open new document, then right click again to paste).
7. Delete all lines not associated with this particular call. You will now have a step-by-step record per student, per call.
8. Save file and forward to requestor via email.
