Which steps must be taken on a computer (Electronic Process): |
Use the Student Acad Cred Utility Batch (STCU) process to remove or update student academic credit records which have incorrect pointers to various other files. The utility reads the selected records and each record to which those records point. You can choose to either remove the academic credit records or update the pointers to the correct values. Before you run (STCU), create a savedlist to use with this utility. At the colon prompt select the (STUDENT.ACAD.CRED) records which have a null value for the (STC.PST.LINK.FLAG) field. Indicate which function you want Colleague to perform during this run. You can choose to either remove or update all of the records in the savedlist. If you choose to update the records, the ~STCU~ utility verifies whether each of the pointers exists. If they do not, the utility creates the correct pointers. The pointers verified include: PERSON.ST STUDENT.ACAD.LEVELS STUDENT.COURSE.SEC STUDENT.EQUIV.EVAL |
