FUNDING AND APPRECIATION
The project was supported by a $449,400 grant awarded to San Bernardino Community College District through the State of California’s Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Program (EHCRP).
We thank the EHCRP team at the California Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation for their support and investment in our campus community. This funding helped bring the shaded seating, trees, solar tables, and hydration stations to campus, supporting our efforts to prepare for extreme heat.
The project was completed in September 2026.
