Chancellor's Leadership Academy
Lead Change. Foster Innovation. Inspire Motivation.
The Chancellor’s Leadership Academy (CLA) launched in 2017 to develop the next generation of faculty and staff who will go on to shape the future of the San Bernardino Community College District, and the community around us. The immersive, three-day program allows selected individuals to gain first-hand insights on leadership, issues, and trends through discussions with statewide leaders at the forefront of community college student success. Graduates of the program have said that the experience dramatically changed their perspectives on leadership and how they approach their work and their future careers. Our community today requires the very best that San Bernardino Community College District has to offer, and we are privileged to play a role in helping hundreds and thousands of students and families achieve their highest potential.
The goal of the Chancellor’s Leadership Academy is to further develop faculty and staff leadership capabilities and inspire them to take part in shaping the future of San Bernardino Community College District. The graduates' experience will prepare them to take risks, disrupt old patterns and make way for new ways of thinking, doing, and leading.
Selection to attend the CLA is based on recommendation to Chancellor's Cabinet. Inquiries regarding Chancellor's Leadership Academy should be directed to Heather Madole, Adminstrative Officer.
