Natalie Garcia (she/her) is a bilingual, first-generation college student at San Bernardino Valley College, majoring in Nursing and Public Health. At SBVC, she has led and supported initiatives that foster inclusion, connection, and a strong sense of belonging, especially for first-generation, low-income, and nontraditional students like herself.

As an active community leader, mentor, and volunteer, she is dedicated to uplifting and empowering others through service, advocacy, and peer support. Her involvement in programs such as Honors, Umoja, and the Associated Student Government reflects her commitment to serving the student body with integrity, collaboration, and purpose.

Off campus, Natalie is an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she provides compassionate, patient-centered care and has developed a deep understanding of the challenges facing underserved communities. She brings this perspective into her academic and leadership work, bridging healthcare and advocacy together.

Deeply committed to service, she also participates in community and environmental volunteer efforts that promote public health, sustainability, and community well-being. Her work reflects a holistic approach to well-being that connects public health, environmental justice, and community care. Grounded in resilience, compassion, and integrity, Natalie approaches leadership with intention by centering the voices of her peers and working collaboratively to strengthen her community. She is committed to representing students authentically, ensuring their needs are heard, and striving to create a more equitable and supportive experience for students of all backgrounds.
