San Bernardino Community College District

Safety & Risk Management

Welcome to the Safety & Risk Management Department

The Safety & Risk Management Department is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all employee and students through proactive measures and collaborative partnerships. By identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, and empowering employees and students through training to recognize hazards, we aim to reduce and eliminate accidents, injuries, and illnesses in our workspaces.

We prioritize the safety and well-being of every member of SBCCD, striving to create an environment where safety is a proactive component of daily life. Believing in the power of partnership, we work closely with campus stakeholders, SBCCD Police Department, and community organizations to develop effective safety strategies and initiatives. Additionally, we empower individuals to take an active role in creating a safer campus environment through education, training, and engagement, fostering a sense of responsibility and ownership for campus safety among everyone in SBCCD.

Together, we can create a safe and healthy environment for everyone at SBCCD.
