Measure CC/Measure M and BP 6610

The bodnd program will generate $470 million in local funding to ensure our community has structurally safe and quality classrooms, STEM labs, and workforce training facilities at Crafton Hills College and San Bernardino Valley College.

An important part of the bond program includes providing opportunities for local businesses. Board Policy 6610 is intended to promote the participation of Local Businesses. “Local Business” shall mean a business serving as a contractor or supplier that has its principal headquarters or permanently staffed regional office located within the Inland Empire (defined as San Bernardino and Riverside Counties), and that has held a business license with one of the cities within the Inland Empire for a minimum of 3 months.

In accordance with BP 6610, the District invites local, minority, women and veteran owned businesses to participate in current and upcoming bid opportunities.

Local Business, Minority, and Veteran Owned Enterprise Program

The Governing Board of the San Bernardino Community College District strongly encourages Local, Minority, Women and Veteran Owned Enterprises and apprenticeship participation in the construction workforce. See Board Policy 6610.

Other opportunities to work with the SBCCD include the Prequalification & UCCAP Program. For more information visit here.
