for SBVC Career Pathways 2 - 2024

 

The Green Building Award of Honor recognizes SBVC’s Career Pathways 2 project for excellence in water conservation and resource stewardship. This distinction highlights the District’s leadership in addressing California’s critical water challenges through sustainable campus development.

The project incorporates strategies that reduce potable water use, improve water efficiency, and support responsible site design. By embedding water stewardship into a career-focused academic facility, SBCCD reinforces the connection between sustainable infrastructure, workforce preparation, and long-term environmental responsibility.
