CMAA Project Achievement Award

The Crafton Hills College Finkelstein Performing Arts Center received a 2026 Project Achievement Award from the Construction Management Association of America’s Southern California Chapter. The project was recognized in the Education category for city, county, and state projects valued under $50 million.

The new performing arts center provides modern spaces for music, theater, instruction, and community engagement. The facility includes a 274-seat proscenium theater, a black box theater, rehearsal and recording spaces, dressing rooms, production shops, faculty offices, and outdoor gathering areas.

Presented to San Bernardino Community College District, Crafton Hills College, and Kitchell CEM, this award recognizes the collaboration, planning, and construction management that brought the project to completion. The facility reflects SBCCD’s continued commitment to creating high-quality, sustainable learning environments that support students and the surrounding community.
