CMAA Project Achievement Award - 2026

San Bernardino Community College District was named the 2026 Owner of the Year by the Construction Management Association of America’s Southern California Chapter. Presented on May 27, 2026, this recognition honors SBCCD’s leadership in managing construction projects that enhance educational opportunities and create modern, sustainable spaces for students and the community.

Through its Measures CC and M construction programs, SBCCD has advanced major improvements across San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College. These projects reflect the District’s commitment to responsible project management, sustainability, workforce development, local hiring, and participation from small and diverse businesses.

This recognition highlights the collaboration of SBCCD’s Facilities Planning, Construction and Sustainability team, campus leadership, project partners, contractors, and community stakeholders. Together, their work continues to transform District facilities while ensuring public resources are managed responsibly and invested in long-term student success.
