Aerial Work Safety Program

It is the policy of the San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD) that all employees operating an Aerial Work Platform (AWP) will be qualified and knowledgeable of safe operating procedures in furtherance of protecting the safety and health of those on campus.

The purpose of this program is to ensure that all SBCCD AWP operators are adequately trained and qualified to operate an AWP to ensure a safe campus for employees and students. SBCCD will maintain compliance with the Cal/OSHA standard for AWPs.
