Sewer Management Program

The San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD) includes two college campuses, a professional development center, and a public broadcast system. One of the college campuses, San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC), is in the city of San Bernardino. Crafton Hills College (CHC) is located on a hillside in the city of Yucaipa. The wastewater collection for SBVC discharges to the city of San Bernardino for conveyance to the city’s wastewater treatment plant for treatment and disposal of the water. The wastewater collection for CHC discharges to the city of Redlands for treatment and disposal of the wastewater generated on the campus. The connection to the city of Redlands is through a trunk sewer that extends from the northwest corner of the campus to the eastern edge of the city.

This document has been developed to comply with SWRCB’s General Waster Discharge Requirement (WDR) order No. 2006-0003 and sets specific wastewater collection system requirements and upholds State water quality standards.
